Click style shoes (also known as Clipless) are a barrier to just riding your bike. A common myth is that clipless pedals allow you to pull up on the back stroke while pedalling. Fact is you don't. The pedal is actually pushing your leg up! Our thinking is if that is so, then why invest in special shoes and pedals when you can just ride in regular shoes? Get a quality pair of sealed bearing platform pedals and you will have the EXACT SAME efficiency and still be able to walk normal. You can even wear nice shoes. Also there won't be any rides that start with wet shoes if you keep a spare pair at work.

We would be happy to special order any pair of bike shoes you like, however we will not sell you a pair or racing style shoes. They cause folks to slip and fall all too often on slick coffee shop or grocery store floors!
If you must have clipless pedals, we recommend Shimano shoes.
