When is the next Full Moon for Seattle?
Note: Depending on where your calendar is printed, the full moon may show a day off. We ride when the moon is full in Pacific time.
6527 California Avenue SW in West Seattle (Fauntleroy and California; next to Subway, across from Thriftway)
If the full moon is on a WEEKDAY, then we leave at 7:30 PM sharp.
If it is on a WEEKEND, then we leave at 6:30 PM sharp!
Rain does NOT cancel, this is Seattle! If it is raining, then we will go to a park shelter, or a place that allows dogs and food, like Beveridge Place Pub.
We often go to Alki Beach for a fire but not if there is a Burn Ban.

Everyone is welcome on this fun slow ride, especially newbies! Anyone can do this ride. We will wait for you! No one gets left behind.
We ride through quiet neighborhoods and on the bike trails or sometimes the sidewalk. Our route is always less than 12 miles and is ridden at a slow, social pace. Sometimes we just ride a few miles, especially if it is raining. Sample Route. We always start and end at the bike shop. If you need a bike, Aaron's Bicycle Repair can loan you one (arrive half hour early and call first to make a reservation (206) 938-9795). All loaner bikes come with lights and helmets (if you want) and we have locks to share.
There is a growing groundswell of folks just like you that DO NOT want to wear neon green to ride a bike. Many do not even want to wear helmets (even though there is a helmet law in Seattle)! They just want to go someplace without getitng in a car or taking the bus. Going on their own time, on their own route. This ride celebrates that. Let's show everyone that you do not need a car to go out on the town, that you do not need a car to LIVE! News article about this ride.
